You Must Have a Normal Body Weight
While SmartLipo™ treatment sounds like a quick solution for individuals who are overweight, it’s not considered as a substitute treatment for weight loss or obesity. According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, liposuction and other procedures for fat reduction should be used on areas that are not responsive to diet and exercise.
You Must Be in Good General Health
According to the National Society of Plastic Surgeons, a good candidate for any laser fat removal treatment should be in good health and have pockets of removable fat. If you are in good health before undergoing this procedure, you’ll have a fairly quick recovery time. Similar to most cosmetic treatments, it’s not advisable to undergo SmartLipo™ treatment while pregnant. You may be a good candidate for this fat removal procedure after the baby is born.
